This year, fifteen Minnesota food co-ops helped replenish the food shelves in our respective neighborhoods. The collaborative effort paid off – we raised 100,271 dollars/pounds of food for the Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign. For the past several years, the Twin Cities food co-ops have participated in Minnesota FoodShare's March Campaign, a program of the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches that provides funds, food and educational materials to over 300 food shelves across the state. This year, the Twin Cities stores joined forces with other Minnesota food co-ops - for an even bigger impact on Minnesotans.
